Alex's first rudimentary system relied on a collection of expensive off-the-shelf software and lighting components. For the next two years Alex continued to collaborate with customers to learn more about their overall needs for timely event notification. COVID-19 brought about a surge in remote employment, and a slow-down in demand for notification systems. Alex used this time to reimagine the next generation of software and hardware. As a result, in 2023, VINE Alert, Inc. was launched dedicated to delivering world-class event notification solutions to schools, churches, daycares and businesses.

Since that time, the company has developed a suite of products solving the problem of reliable and instantaneous mass communication. In 2025, as part of the company’s offerings, VINE partnered with Raptor Technologies to provide visual notification as part of Raptor’s Badge Alert System. Today, VINE continues to deliver innovative solutions aiding schools, churches, daycares and businesses with timely dissemination of critical information to their staff, students and children.
